Hi everyone! I’m Tamasine (Tammy) Stretton. When not trying to make a difference for Montgomeryshire’s wildlife through my day job as Conservation Officer with Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, I can often be found tending my wildlife garden, in the wilds near Welshpool. I have a pond, native hedges, wildflower meadows, a few fruit trees, as well as a veg bed and shrubbery. If it works for wildlife it gets to stay! I am very lucky in that we are surrounded by ancient woodlands and less intensively managed pastures. One day, I hope to be able to take on the management of some of it! I am also an obsessive biological recorder, obtaining immense pleasure from recording my sightings of pretty much any organism I can identify, and I love photography. I look forward to meeting you all very soon. 🙂
